Spraying Schedule
As of 2019, the County has begun an herbicide spraying program for petition ditches maintained by the County. The schedule for this spraying program is as follows:
Petition ditches on the West half of the County will be sprayed during odd years (2019, 2021, 2023, etc.). Petition ditches on the East half of the County will be sprayed during even years (2020, 2022, 2024, etc.). Location maps are available below.
To facilitate this process, please remember to keep the maintenance easement areas (runs parallel with the tops of banks of open ditches) free of planted crops to avoid crop damage, which is not eligible for compensation.
