MONTHLY PRE PAYMENT PLAN

This Tax Installment Prepay Plan divides the Annual Real Estate Taxes in 12 payments. Each taxpayer makes five (5) installments per half and then the final bill shows the Half Tax less all prepayments and the balance due. There is no penalty if one of the payments is late or missed as long as the total Half Tax is paid in full prior to the due date for that half.

                ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible for this Tax Installment Prepayment Plan a taxpayer needs to have their taxes current. (NO DELINQUENCIES)

                PAYMENT METHOD

Taxpayers receive a coupon book with ten (10) coupons, enough for the entire year. Alternative pay methods are available. A taxpayer may use one of the following methods to pay:

* Pay by mail.

* Pay In Person.

* Place in drop box. (Located on east side of courthouse in the alley off Hickory St.)

* Utilize ACH program where payment is automatically debited from your checking or savings account on the 15th of each month.
