RESOLUTION

COMMISSIONERS ORDER EXTENDING TIME

TO COMPLETE CONTRACT

IN THE MATTER OF THE

SINGLE COUNTY DITCH #922

PETITIONED BY FRANK BRINKMAN

The Board of County Commissioners of Putnam County, Ohio, met in regular session on the 30th day of May, 2008, at the office of said Board with the following members present: Mr. John E. Love, Mr. Vincent T. Schroeder and Mr. Robert A. Riepenhoff

Mr. Riepenhoff moved the adoption of the following resolution:

WHEREAS, The Putnam County Engineer has received a letter from Jim’s Excavating requesting that the contract for the Frank Brinkman Ditch #922 be extended till the end of June, 2008.

and

WHEREAS, The contractor requests an extension of 30 days due to the wet weather this spring and some lost time in having to straighten a section of the ditch.

now therefore, be it

RESOLVED, The Board of County Commissioners does hereby approve of extending the completion time on the contract to June 30, 2008.

and be it further

RESOLVED, That the contractor’s bond and securities thereon shall remain liable as if such extended time had been originally named in the bond or contract.

and be it further

RESOLVED, It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Board concerning and relating to the adoption of the Resolution were adopted in an open meeting of this Board, and that all deliberations of this Board and of any of its Committees that resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the public in compliance with all legal requirements including Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code.

Mr. Schroeder seconded the motion and the roll being called upon its adoption, the vote resulted as follows: Mr. Riepenhoff yes Mr. Schroeder yes Mr. Love yes
